網站主機架構請教

公司有多個網站，原本都是分別在多台台windows 2000主機上跑IIS(也就是一個網站一個主機)，造成管理不易；
現打算將多個網站併到同主機，以方便管理
想要請教：

希望的架構是前端兩台或多台web主機(分散loading)，共享後端一台SQL server資料庫，以及後端一台storage(存放web content)

不知該如何開始著手，還望各位大師指點

Well, you have got the basic design, now what you need to do is:
a) start small - get 1 web and 1 sql server.
b) migrate all websites to this new server as separate website (with host
header)
c) test all sites at this machine, make sure it can sustain the load etc
d) shutdown all old web server, ensure client can browse to this new
machine, etc

if the load is high, put in a new web box and configure NLB for it.
