更改名稱與IP

請教各位
我原本的IIS是架設在windows server2k上
現在要整個移植到新的電腦跑windows server2k3
計畫步驟如下
1.將整個網頁相關的目錄與檔案都完整複製到新機器上
2.將舊的server2k改名稱與IP
3.將新的server2k3改成原本的名稱與IP
這樣可行嗎？不知更改名稱與IP會不會有問題
我在網路上爬文後好像有人提到
IUSER IWAM 等的帳號要注意??
ASP,CGI等等Script的程式會不會影響
請教大家有何建議

This should be fine, only thing you need take note is that.
- make sure the app is tested on w2k3
- the DNS refresh will take certain time, but since you change the IP, it
should reflect directly. however just to be on the safe side. you can
configure the old w2k to redirect to this new w2k3 machine.

Yes, the name and IP changes are the least of the problem.

Your web application will more likely be the one giving problems. IIS on
2K3 has tighter security lock downs by default (asp is not even turned on).
You must test your application thoroughly.
