請問關於FTP訪問的問題

請教各位老師，我在一台Win2003(SP1)上啟動了IIS 6.0 和 FTP 套件
(
這台主機並沒有建置網域，也沒有其他諸如DHCP或DNS等服務，他只是一台很單純的工作站)，我在本地新建了一個USER來訪問這個站點（取消匿名訪問)，我想請問，在訪問這個FTP站點輸入USERNAME和密碼時，USERNAME一定要是hostname(domain)\username這種格式嗎？否則會出現530錯誤，是否有辦法直接輸入username而不用添加hostname(domain)？如果可以，請問怎樣才能做到？我有參考

此外，另一個詭異的問題，當我使用administrator登入FTP 時，卻不用加上hostname 或domain name
這是否意味著，上技術文件中所提及的本機登入權限，並不是此case下的問題癥結？因為我在另一台Win2000+IIS 5.0
的機器上，利用技術文件所說的本機登入權限設定，可以成功解決530錯誤的問題(不過，這台2000是網域控制站就是了)。

If this is and standalone machine, there's no need to include 'hostname' or
'domain name' before the username.

If the user is not able to login, check does it has permissions to access
the ftp root, etc.
is there anything in event log ?

Thanks for your reply.
I am sure that the permission of root directory is set properly.
However, except administrator, common users still can not log in by using
the "username" only.
The event log only has the common error, but I will check it again and post
some useful information.

There is nothing in the event log.
But I still can not log in FTP by "username" only.
Somebody help me....

Can you post the output when you try connect via ftp.exe ?

is it still 530? turn on security logon auditing and see if it capture more
detail on the failed login.
