Dear Sir:
OS:W2k SP4
在一小時內 IIS connection >3400個，CPU使用量達100% 網頁無法服務，
目前判定這個IP存取行為合法，要如何處理，謝謝。

Still legal to make 3400 connection from a single IP ?
Geezzz... what is the user try to do ? requesting the same file 3.4k times?
if yes, it is legal ?

you either block it or determine whether you box can take 3.4k connection,
if not upgrade your server/bandwidth/etc..

這得看你的CPU與RAM大小
如果真的要問每秒最高有多少筆交易數量
答案是幾百萬以上


ps: 你的頻寬是啥阿?
假使每個網頁是30kb
要達到每秒3400個交易數量
也要1Gbit的對外頻寬

其實這種東西算連接數沒意義
因為這是不是傳完就斷線
要不然就是傳完..就停在那裡等使用者點超連結

Technically - no hard coded limit.
It depends on the app and hardware. just like how many websites can you
create in IIS 5 or 6 ?
No definite answer... refer this article I wrote.
